Run For Life
The Run for Life event was established in 1994 in Raleigh,
NC by Mary Angelini to help pro-life organizations raise additional
funds for operation and to raise public awareness of the sanctity of
life and the many pro-life organizations that are available to assist
women faced with an unplanned pregnancy. Help comes in many forms—
pre-natal care, life skills training, budgeting, job placement, —
and can continue long after the baby is born.
Accomplishments
To date, the Run for Life has raised over $100,000 for the following
organizations:
- Birthchoice
- Christian Life Home
- Project Rachael
- Project Gabriel
- Triangle Down Syndrome
- Angelplace
- Pregnancy Life Care Center
- LifeTree, Inc.
Goals
- Saving babies from abortion
- Educating mothers on the many services available to them
- Promoting pro-life and pro-life organizations
- Fund-raising on behalf of pro-life organizations
- Pro-life publicity
