Family Honor
offers a family-centered approach to chastity
education. Our programs create opportunities and
provide tools for parents and children to connect on and
explore important life issues, with a special emphasis
on the virtue of chastity and God’s gift of sexuality.
We are different from abstinence programs as we include
the following:
·
A Catholic perspective
-
grounded in Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic
Church, Humanae Vitae, Pope John Paul II’s
Familiaris Consortio and the Theology of the Body.
·
Chastity
– provides a hopeful perspective.
·
Parent empowerment
– a commitment to empower, encourage, and equip parents
of child. Parents/guardian are required to
attend and participate with their child in programs for
which they’ve registered.
·
Multi-session evening or
weekend programs
– provide several opportunities for parents and
their child to “connect.”
·
Developmental approach
– four different age-appropriate programs.
·
Professional faculty
– complete Family Honor’s college-credit course, The
Principals of Family-Centered Chastity Education,
plus 140 hours of internship.
